As much as I like this way of storytelling, I think in this case it is a bit confusing. The first three flashbacks were clearly illustrating how each character was telling their story to the rest of the gang in the tavern. So you’d think that “Komiyan” was doing the same with this one. Until you get to the end and think “hang on, why would the impostor tell them all about the kidnapping and impersonating the real Komi?”. At least I had to read the last three panels twice to realize that this story wasn’t being told to the gang 🙂
