looking back on this i am wondering why on earth i drew them settling down to dinner in full armour 😐
I had assumed it was justthe sort of dnd group where the players always went about in armour in case the dm dropped a surprise combat on them. Mind you when I DM I lean heavily on players with this approach until they see the error of their ways, and I suspect many others do the same.
